Job Description Wells Fargo is hiring for a Senior Technology Leader to join our Enterprise Information Technology Team to lead the Commercial Lending Credit Bridge Core Services Team within the Wholesale Banking Technology organization (WBT). This role will be located at our offices in Danbury, CT or Charlotte, NC. The selected candidate will manage and lead a new technology team with responsibility for developing the strategy and implementation of a common product platform for core commercial lending businesses. Qualified candidates should themselves be experts in the following areas: Java, Full Stack development, systems architecture including load balancing, clustering, performance handling, optimization, security, and Web Services with strong fundamentals in MVC and object-oriented programing. It is expected that the candidate be able to provide leadership through vision and innovation, with the ability to work with multiple project teams. Responsibilities include: Develop strategic roadmap and implementation plan for platform Core Services and Frameworks. Lead a team through technical analysis, design, construction and deployment of highly complex, large scale application projects. Drive innovation and technical flexibility into robust and scalable services. Manage pipeline of priorities from multiple partner application teams. Ability to apply core Java design patterns, application of technical principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications. Manage providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of J2EE technologies, tools and designs. Provides design and coding direction to less experienced staff. Recruits and trains talented development resources. Oversees overall Systems Integration Testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Leads Development of design documentation, departmental technical guidelines, checklists, software engineering best practices and How-to guides for developers. Leads projects, plans, allocates and manages project resources and manages deliverables of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees project and release rollout to production. Fortify controls to manage and mitigate risk. Quality needs to be built in. Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems. Evaluates systems specifications, participates in continuous tuning of the banking platform for optimal performance and scalability, determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.
Required Qualifications
10 years of technology experience
3 years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
Other Desired Qualifications 10 years\u2019 experience with Application Patterns, Web and Java centric design patterns 5 years expert level knowledge of java and javascript frameworks specifically Spring, Angular, and React. Experience with leading and managing vendor development teams delivering project based scope of work. Strong experience using (JIRA, ALM, GitHub, uDeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, eclipse, Tealeaf, etc) Ability to manage business partner relationships and technology team members to deliver against business expectations. Ability to define technical direction of the Team within Enterprise Architectural guidelines and execute delivery within those constraints. Experience with both Agile and more traditional SDLC approaches with willingness to support either approach as directed by the project at hand. Experienced in continuous integration tools and methodologies Prior experience with application profiling and performance tuning of highly scalable and available systems Strong knowledge of how to monitor applications to ensure 24x7 uptime Proven ability to communicate with business and technical groups easily, ability to communicate with various levels of management Good leadership skills, must have demonstrated ability to lead a group of developers Demonstrate previous experience with estimating and sizing enhancements and new large complex projects Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or related field.
