Responsibilities
Perform all duties associated with the analytical phases of program and budget forecasting, formulation, and execution.
Provides staff support, guidance, workload analyses, and coordination program studies and briefing.
Provide budgetary advice for technical element, directors, and administrative staff with budget reporting responsibilities.
Administers a complex annual budget of multiple direct, annual and multi-year appropriations, revolving funds, and reimbursable funds from varied sources.
Use Simple Query Language (SQL) to extract data from automated financial management systems for analysis and decision making.
Manage Supervisor and Administration Funds budgeting, execution and analysis for All Technical Divisions.

* Current US Army Corps of Engineers - Charleston District Employees within the local commuting area. Consideration will also be given to current Army employees with competitive status

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.
One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) formulation, forecasting/trend analysis, and execution of technical organization budget; 2) analysis of budgetary submission and performance and cost management; 3) development of guidance and procedures for execution of budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
