Reviews and analyzes maintenance data; determines if criteria are sufficient to provide adequate test, troubleshooting and repair procedures; devises and recommends tests, procedural changes, or data corrections. Knowledgeable of stations that are used to repair and maintain all avionics line-replaceable units and pods.nnTO BE CONSIDERED AT THE WG-13 LEVEL APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:nSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Must have at least Twelve (12) months of specialized experiences working as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12, and must possess the craftsman (7) level of knowledge and skills to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. Experiences included the ability and skills to perform on-or off-equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integrated systems associated with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on systems such as, automatic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial and radar navigation systems. Experienced in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems. Experiences included completing operational checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line-replaceable-units which are linked with integrated systems and line-replaceable-units which are independent or associated with nonintegrated systems.nnBASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To qualify an applicant for one of the FWS Series 2610 ANG Dual Status Technician positions, apply and evaluate the applicant's competencies, military and civilian experiences, completed education, learned skills, obtained knowledge, endorsed abilities, and training program accomplishments. The following seven basic qualification factors are applicable to the FWS ANG Dual Status Technician positions:nntSkilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accuratelyntAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyntSkilled in duties such as, install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexesntAbility to format and write English in reports and presentation formatsntSkilled in presenting formal training presentations and briefingsntSkilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting materialntSkilled in training, mentoring, leading, and problem-solvingnnnOther QualificationsnTo initially qualify and prior to appointment, an applicant's military medical record must indicate a completed and current medical physical, medical profile, a cleared drug test; and, normal color vision as defined in AFI 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards.nTo initially qualify and as a condition of continued dual status technician employment, must have the capability to lift, carry, push, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 70 pounds.nTo initially qualify and as a condition of continued dual status technician employment, must have the physical capability to stand, climb, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and stoop over extended periods of time.nAs a condition of continued dual status technician employment, the employee must complete the hazmat certification within six months of employment and complete hazmat recertification every two years.nAs a condition of continued dual status technician employment, the employee must maintain the position's mandatory AFSC skill level and continue on-the-job proficiency requirements.nAs a condition of continued dual status technician employment, the employee requires routine access to classified Secret material or similar environment. For award and retention of a compatible AFSC, the employee must have a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit (NACLC) according to AFI 31-501, Personnel Security Program Management. The employee's clearance reinvestigations must be opened prior to the expiration of his or her current investigations.
