Sr. Project Manager - Expansion & Renovation\r
Responsible for project management and execution of major facility and equipment projects at their manufacturing site in Rochester, NY. Develops and maintains the site\u2019s Master project plan in support of long range strategic plans.\u00a0 As the site subject matter expert, manages and drives improvements to the project management process.\u00a0\r
\tManage major Capacity Expansion, Process Improvement and Facility Renovation Projects for the site.\u00a0\u00a0\r
\t\tLead cross-functional teams to execute projects following a standard Project Management Process.\u00a0\u00a0\r
\t\tManage project cost, quality and timing with standard PMP tools including Gantt charts, critical path analysis, risk registers, etc.\r
\t\tLead development of project scope, justification and capital expenditure requests\r
\t\tClearly communicate status, risks and recommendations with leadership and stakeholders through regular reviews, reports and ad-hoc meetings as required.\r
\tDevelop and maintain the site\u2019s master project plan in conjunction with site and regional long range strategic plan\u00a0\r
\t\tPlan, Forecast and Monitor site capital spending for current and future years\r
\t\tManage and improve site project selection and prioritization process\u00a0\r
\tLead improvement of the project management process and site capability\r
\t\tDevelop standard work with visual management for regular project reviews and communication.\r
\t\tImprove validation process including protocol development, documentation, final reports and approval process\r
\tSite Subject Matter Expert for Project Management\r
\t\tTrain and Coach other project leaders in the site\r
\t\tCollaborate with regional Project Management Office for standardization and best practices\r
\tComplies with the Quality System Regulation (QSR)\r
\tExecutes job responsibilities as established in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)\r
\tFollows the documentation procedures\r
\tComplies with Safety and Occupational Health Policy and procedures\r
\tComplies with Hazardous Communication program\r
\tNotifies immediately all accidents or incidents occurred in work area\r
\tComplies with the usage, inspection and maintenance of the personal protective equipment required, if applicable\r
\tPromotes and maintains a safe working area and notifies any condition he/she may think might cause an accident\r
\tParticipates in the activities of the Safety and Occupational Health Program as requested.\r
\tDemonstrated Project Management skills in planning, risk management and execution; Expert with project management software; PMI certification preferred.\u00a0\u00a0\r
\tStrong leadership qualities with proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority .\r
\tExcellent written and oral communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.\r
\tIndependently manages multiple complex projects while meeting project requirements.\r
\tMust be able to give clear direction, communicate expectations and provide feedback and performance evaluation to all levels of personnel.\r
\tKnowledge and experience with Current Good Manufacturing Principles (CGMP), ISO 13485, Lean Manufacturing and strong problem solving skills.\r
\tTechnical depth in Assembly/Test Automation, Injection Molding, Tooling and/or Facility Infrastructure preferred.\r
\tOccasionally lifts up to 35 pounds.\r
\tProlonged sitting in front of a computer.\r
\tPotential exposure to caustic chemicals and/or building construction projects.\r
\tTravel up to 10% domestic and international\r
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in science, or engineering required\r
\tPMI certification preferred\r
\tMinimum 10 years of managing capital projects in the manufacturing environment from capital appropriation to post launch close-outs.\r
\tMedical device or Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.\r
\tLean Six Sigma certification preferred.\r
