Responsibilities
As a Aircraft Ordnance Systems Mechanic, WG-6652-10, you will:
Position, repair, and adjust required aerospace ground equipment, such as rail extensions, hoists, slings. dollies, and trailers used in performing maintenance tasks
Solve unusual installation and maintenance problems by studying lavout drawings, schematic and wiring diagrams, applicable technical publications, and analyzing construction and operating characteristics of egress systems
Select proper maintenance and repair procedures and correct the malfunction and/or defective equipment
Diagnose recurring malfunctions and recommend corrective action bv initiation of Quality Deficiency Reports, proposed modifications, or other appropriate action
Travel Required
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement
. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Must have the following experience:
* Repairing malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components
* Using sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications and engineering drawings
* Demonstrating skill in the use of test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic checks
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 18 months of the following experience:
* Planning the layout of repair sequence
* Modifying, repairing and installing of ordnance systems
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions
* Determining remedy where complex relationships exist
* Using hand tools and a limited number of measuring equipment
* Using of a variety of test equipment
* Interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications
