As a Crewmember, you play a vital role in maintaining the rocket's red glare. The MLRS is a highly specialized system, using different pieces of equipment, and is operated by a team of professionals. Depending on your role, you will establish, maintain, and operate MLRS equipment.
While doing so, you will learn vital skills applicable in any civilian career: skills such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership. You will also be exposed to various computer systems used in targeting and communications.

Job training for the Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember begins with nine weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills. Then, you attend Advanced Individual Training to learn specifics of your chosen specialty. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in a field environment.
Requires military enlistment. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.
