Job Description: Serve as a Senior Training and Development Specialist in support of the Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC) and the Counterintelligence Advanced Leader Course (ALC). 35L senior training development specialists are primarily responsible for assisting the government in the formulation, teaching and training of curricula on counterintelligence operations and investigations to detect, identify, neutralize, and exploit Foreign Intelligence Services (FIE) and Terrorist (ITO) threats to national security. USAR training is a fast-paced and extended hour work environment. The 35L course runs 6 days a week 8-10 hours a day. Employee will normally work 40 hours per week, but be prepared to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Instruct 35L students at the CI Special Agent Course and ALC through platform, small group and one-on-one instruction. Portray realistically, accurately and convincingly CI walk-ins, sources and subjects in a variety of role-playing scenarios in diversified settings and environments such as field training exercises (both practical and situational) and tests. Memorize critical role-player data, portray each role without reliance upon scripts, and provide students with feedback regarding questioning and elicitation techniques. Complete student evaluations in accordance with (IAW) government provided references, procedures and forms. This will include a post-role verbal critique, retraining and complete written evaluation of students' performance IAW Government provided references, procedures and forms. Perform and train the methodologies, duties, roles, and responsibilities of CI surveillance, and source operations, ensuring Soldiers adhere to all safety procedures. Performing job & task analysis, designing lesson plans and evaluation instruments, developing TRADOC Analysis and Requirements (TRAS) documents, operating Army systems as applicable, including Army Counterintelligence Operational Portal (ACOP). Must have a current Top Secret clearance on the first day of employment; Eligibility for SCI must be obtained within a reasonable time frame. Must have a minimum of 3 years of operational experience in MOS 35L/351L, 35E or an equivalent specialty in another branch of service conducting counterintelligence operations/investigations, or an equivalent specialty in other U.S. government agencies conducting tactical, operational, or strategic counterintelligence operations with honorable service Graduate of Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Basic Instructor Course (BITC), Instructor Training Course (ITC), or equivalent Army instructor training course. Employee must be in good health, with the ability to work in a wide variety of terrain and weather conditions. Must be able to walk 5 miles unaided. Required Education: Bachelor's Degree. An additional 6 years of experience in related military training may be considered in lieu of degree requirement Desired Skills: Minimum of two years in a TRADOC instructor billet. Recent operational experience in an overseas operational billet. Graduate of Army Small Group Instructor (SGITC) training course. Graduate of Instructor Development through Coaching and Evaluations (IDCE) course. Graduate of Army ALC (BNCOC) and SLC (ANCOC) for MOS 35L 113432
