Act as military liaison for hospital, focusing on both active duty and veteran populations in Texas and Oklahoma; emphasis on military installations and veteran hospital, clinics, and programs. Disseminate information to military installation professionals and command on hospital services and programs. Facilitate special service related events. Coordinate logistics of active duty and veterans from admission through discharge, including transportation. Provide transfer of discharge information to referring military professionals when appropriate. Perform various other hospital related duties when requested. Seek new business from military and veteran installations throughout Texas and Oklahoma while maintaining relationships with current referral sources. Effective and accurate dissemination of hospital information concerning programs and services. Identification, development, and maintenance of professional relationships with military and veteran referral sources. Organization and facilitation of special events including educational presentations, trade shows, and military community awareness programs. Dissemination of patient discharge information to referring professionals, when appropriate. Maintain an effective working relationship with Intake team and all other departments. Continually monitor competitor information and services. Promote a positive work environment and positive guest relations. Identification of potential marketing/business development opportunities. Schedule and conduct referral developing/marketing contacts (30-35 per week). Responsible for accountability measures, including paperwork and timely submission of contact sheets, appropriate reports, and schedules. Participation as relevant in overall hospital operations. Traveling up to 70% of the time. Prior military experience (active duty or veteran) desired.
