PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES The Revision Newport Quality Manager will manage and administer the Plant -wide Quality Management System as it applies to the Revision Newport facility. Furthermore the Quality Manager will also initiate and act as a resource for global improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager is responsible for driving continuous and significant improvement in Revision quality performance. This will be achieved by developing a customer centric culture and methodically improving processes that fulfill our mission. \u00a0 Support Duties and Responsibilities: In the near term, achieving significant and quantifiable improvement in control of non-conforming product, ISO certification maintenance, and compliance management system processes. Maintains, manages and further develops Revision\u2019s specialized test equipment relevant with current and future technologies; ensuring products are produced to the highest quality standards to meet or exceed customer requirements and expecations. Coordinate internal and external testing regiments to provide objective quality evidence in support customer product performance standards. Evaluate results of product tests and inspections for compliance and analyze trends which may lead to failures in the future and initiate preventive measures as required. Assist in the development of new test protocols for new products. Assist Marketing and Sales to determine compliancy to new standards and define customer requirements for certification. Review customer requirements and determine applicable standards. Identify 3rd Party Testing Labs for various certifications and ensure all certifications for specific products are obtained. Manage calibration of test and measurement equipment on-site. Provide guidance to Lab customers regarding what testing is appropriate, and to assist in interpretation of testing results, to include suggestion to improve product performance as applicable. Develop first rate knowledge of all standards and specifications which relate to our products Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in related manufacturing activity required. Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred. 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 2 years of experience in a quality role. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. Work as integral member of a team. Knowledge about the manufacturing and testing of composite materials; including compression molding process. Experience working in a regulated, spec-driven environment such as military or medical, strongly preferred. Firm understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems. Ability and attitude to work as a leader in a cross functional environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to deliver high-quality results within corporate goals in a timely manner. Open-minded, willing to learn new things, and innovative in thinking and problem-solving. Responsiveness to external and internal customers and a can-do, positive attitude are a must. Proficient in computer use with Microsoft and other products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, statistical software, etc.). Outstanding work ethic and passion for excellence, a must. Technical background required.
