**Job Description:****The selected candidate must be open to working any shift: the current opening begins on day shift (Mon-Fri 8-5) and transitions to second shift (Mon-Thur, 4 p.m. -2 a.m.) as the building operationalizes.****I.****Job****Summary:**TheAssistant Operations Manager (AOM) assists the Operations Manager (OM) in managingoperations and staffing for the Direct Fulfillment Center. The AOM supervises a high performing team ofOperation Coaches that is responsible for monitoring the movement of inventoryas it safely, efficiently and effectively moves through the facilityundamaged. The position analyzes theforecasted production volume and reevaluates resources throughout the day asworkflow conditions change to meet store demand. With the Coaching staff, the AOM works toachieve or exceed facility performance goals despite these fluctuating demands. The Assistant Operations Manager resolvesissues, addresses safety concerns, and is responsible for communicatingbusiness objectives and daily workload plans.The Assistant Operations Manager engages in Employee Relations whichconcerns the relationship of employees with the organization and with eachother.
