Summary
You will serve as an Archeological Technician in the Collections Management Division; Underwater Archeological Branch (CODE 210) of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
Responsibilities
You will assist with logostics planning and preliminary research for archeological field projects.
You will participate in inderwater archeological research activities.
You will research and reference questions.

For the GS 07 POSITION

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting archival research in archives to gather data for research decisions, reviewing, editing and advising on archeological research plans and field logistics; researching and answering reference questions pertaining to U.S. naval ship and aircraft histories and responds to matters related to the national historic preservation policy pertaining to sunken military craft.

FOR THE GS-06 POSITION

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in planning and executing archival field logistics for sunken/terrestrial military craft site investigations; assisting in development and research design for field projects; participating in underwater archeological research and assists with writing/editing drafts of final reports.
